Because I am testing out a new soil tent set up, this means that I will be using a fertilizer system.  Keep in mind that this is the first time that I have used this line so it’s both a trial and error experiment but also a product test to see how well it does for us personally.

Remember that growing indoors means that everything which is supplemented out in nature, needs to be supplemented indoors.

Here is the breakdown of how the system works.  Much like the hydroponic system nutrition its all about the N-P-K and macro- and micro- nutrient supplements.

I have chosen to experiment with the Aurora Innovations Organic Products, Roots Organics Feeding System.

Here is the feeding schedule for the product based on my 10 gallon reservoir:

The breakdown of each product is as follows with their GE (guaranteed analysis) N-P-K:

Ancient Ember (GE 0.1-0-0)

The Ancient Ember product contains a small amount of nitrogen as well as an amount of potash (an alkaline potassium compound, especially potassium carbonate or hydroxide) which is derived from soybean and nettles.

Buddha Grow (GE 2-0.25-1.5)

The Buddha Grow product contains amounts of nitrogen, phosphate, potash and magnesium derived from bat guano, kelp, worm castings, yucca extract, and soy protein.  It also contains an amount of humic acid so I would not suggest drinking it.

Surge (GE 2-2-0.5)

The Surge product contains an amount of nitrogen, phosphate and potash derived from hydrolyzed fish stabilized with phosphoric acid, kelp, molasses and  langbeinite (potassium magnesium sufate mineral).  It also contains an amount of humic acid and yucca extract.

Trinity (GE 0.1-0.5-0.25)

The Trinity product contains an amount of nitrogen, phosphate and potash derived from molasses, kelp extract, yucca extract, soy bean, aloe extract.  It also contains an amount of humic acid and Quillaja (also known the soapbark tree which is an evergreen native to Chile) extract.

Extreme Serene (GE 0-2-2)

The Extreme Serene product contains no nitrogen, but an amount of phosphate and potash derived from kelp extract.  It also contains an amount of Quillaja extract.

Buddha Bloom (GE 0.5-2-1)

The Buddha Bloom product contains nitrogen, phosphate, potash and calcium derived from bat guana, worm castings, soy protein, kelp extract, molasses and yucca extract.

HP (GE 0-4-0)

The HP product contains an amount of phosphate derived from bat guano and seabird guano.

HPK (GE 0-5-4)

The HPK product contains phosphate and potash derived from seabird guano, bat guano and langbeinite.
