There are a number of garden vegetables which prefer to be grown in a colder atmosphere. Some of those vegetables are:
- Broccoli
- Brussels Sprouts
- Chard
- Garlic
- Kale
- Onion
- Peas
- Winter Squash
This year we are testing out this method by utilizing our vegetable garden boxes with form-fitted dome greenhouses. Our boxes are approximately 8’x4′. We purchased these greenhouse domes on Amazon. They are made by a company named Outsunny and relatively reasonably priced.
